This info is from the Jesse Johnson discography on a certain site that I don't want to shut down so I won't say.I also don't want to sound like an ass,but I am so excited about this stuff!! I only recently knew there were any rare Jesse recordings.Jesse REALLY needs to be releasing more stuff. He has wayy too much to say to us musically. His b-sides and and other non-album songs are all the shit, too!!

Now,I'm remembvering that Jesse,Morris, and Prince wrote "the bird","jungle love",and "ice cream castles". I wonder who did what? Man,if they were all in the studio together I would kill for a copies of any audio or video. Damn!!What talent!!

Rock, I don't get much get into the bootleg scene. However, I bet hearing Jesse lay down so fierce blues would be freeing to the mind and soul. Jesse definitely needs to release more shit if not w/the majors or an indie label or just by himself over the net. headbang guitar

Jess is 'suppesedly" working on a new album with a vintage sound. i guess mid 80's. me i would like to see more of the bare my naked soul sounding stuff. that for me was the best album by anybody in the last decade and it was something that i always wanted to see from jesse, but never heard before. a straight forward rock album

Howdy Y'all

I have this same compilation too & I'd like to point out that two of the tracks are listed incorrectly.

Track #3 which is listed as an instrumental jam is actually a tune called
"So Excited". I don't know at the moment who wrote it, but Stevie Ray Vaughn
had performed it in his "Live at the El Mocambo" video/DVD which is a live gig
from 1983.

Track #9 is actually an old blues tune "Dust My Broom" which was written by Robert Johnson that dates back to the 1930's. One of the more popular versions of the song was recorded by Elmore James in the 1950's. ZZ Top has covered this tune as well.

Peace-out.....
