I like that song. And he does too, as he still plays snippets of it every now and then. And I know he still rehearses it with his band.

Except after the first time I heard it live on Romance 1600, I almost can't take the original version.

And Sheila makes it even better live now, using all the extra horn parts, the "new part" which is now working on 20 years old .

It's like why didn't they do it that way the first time!

One of the few songs that will never get old for me. It will always put a smile on my face and get me moving.

The other day I was in KMart grabbing a couple of things; I was in a hurry to get to work. I walked to the checkout line, when "A Love Bizarre" came on over the loudspeaker. The volume was so low that I could barely hear it, but damned if I didn't break out in the cheesiest grin, run away from the register and stand in the lingerie section singing along unitl the song was over! True story. I ended up being like two minutes late for work, but worth it.

My favorite protogee song. I LOVE IT!

As for live versions, I love both the Revolution Stockholm version -- "Whose house? Wendy's house!" and the Lovesexy Sendai version -- "Whose house? Miko's house!" LOVE THEM ALL!

Especialy like the version on Sheila's Romance 1600 live video!!!

Usually when Sheila does Love Bizarre live now she jazzes it up, and one of the cues she calls out is "Strawberry!" and the horns do one of the riffs from "It's GOnna Be A Beautiful Night".

You need to check out the House OF Blues from 98 version.

Any of you who saw the 1ST ANNUAL FAMILY JAMM rocked to that song. When she did it with her old band, it blew me away. That was probably my favorite version of the track.
