I just bought a DVD player last week. Yeah, yeah, I know...I'm late. What can I say I've been waiting for years for the price of the DVD recorders to go down, I finally broke down and bought just a player. The reason was so I could see the new "Purple Rain" 20th Anniversary 2 DVD set.

Anyway, on the "Sex Shooter" video, were those two of the most rhythmless guys you've ever seen in your life or what? They look like they have been taking dance lessons from Whitney Houston. And what's up with the skipping down the sidewalk by not only the girls but the guys also? The guy in the blue shirt couldn't have looked more queenish.

For such a funky song, the video was a hilarious joke! What do you guys think?

I don't know anything about those guys in the video but I think the video itself is great in it's total cheesiness.

I remember the first time I saw it on Night Flight on USA - I was so excited and I thought it was SOOOO cool back then.

I really do love that vid, though. It's fun.

All I saw was Appolonia, Susan, and Brenda bouncing around and looking fine as hell in that lingerie. I guess everything else in that video was oblivious to me after that.

IMHO Appolonia is fine as hell with a great body and that is mainly what I focus on when I watch any of her videos. I know, typical superficial man....

The hispanic guy in the black leather pants was actually Appollonia's brother.

I also like the video. At the time I thought it was cool. I would rather have cheesy than a lot of the crap today. Example, name this video.....a bunch of girls in bikini tops dancing around a bunch of guys in sports jersey's with the occasional bottle of Cristal.

By the way, Susan married the cousin of a old friend of mine. Unless she married the guy in the video and married my friends cousin later. But as of 1994 Susan was married to a black guy and the guy in the video was not him .

I agree with the cheesiness of this video. I love it though. It amazes me at how most of the women that Prince employs look like Vanity, at least for a split second. I've seen Sheila and Apples look like her at some point in some video.

My favorite part is when Apples is yelling at Prince on the phone in Spanish. I forget everything she says but at one point she says "Fuck you, you always borrow my clothes and you never return them." I think before that she's complaining about him being at practice. I think it's hilarious. I was kind of shocked that they let her use some of the language even though it is in Spanish.

Yeah, the guys in the video are no dancers.

NOOOO!!!! Even though it was cheesy as hell, I was glad it was an original video. I remember seeing the "Let's Go Crazy", "Purple Rain", "Jungle Love", and "The Bird" video back in the day and being extremely disappointed. For everyone that's seen the movie....they've already seen the videos.

The Drive Me Wild video is x 3! As it's the extended version of the song...and let's just say that like some of the early 12", Prince gave it a very specail make over. The video is madness. Susan is singing and I tell you this..she does a dead on impression of Prince. And then the long instrumental that takes the song to it's end features some big party where most everyone is dressed up and in costume. I have to say, it's one of those videos that after you see it, you gain a little bit more knowledge in the world of P just by watching it.
