I always thought it'd be cool if Prince recorded a smokey club jazz CD called the Prince Rogers Trio, and even covered a couple of his dad's songs if they still existed. It'd be a nice tribute. Back in 1986, I've seen Prince and his father in an Aftershow during the Parade Word Tour. John was on piano and his son on bass. They played a 3 hours long funky jam with no singing at all. The Ball!!!!! The Funk, the whole Funk, nothin' but the Funk ! | |
