Mani On Alt.Music.Net...is that were she posted when she didn't meet prince?

Ok... I remember a long time ago someone posted that she was part of Alt.Music.Net when she was a fan before she even knew prince...do you know where I can find the notes she left on Alt.Music.Net?

Well... Mayte and Prince were togther for a long time and then marriage for 2 years and then they got divorced...do you think Prince will stay with Manuella for a long time? or will they get divorced in a matter of years? It doesn't seem he would stay with anyone for a while.

Interesting question.

But, in the overall scheme of things, not as interesting as: When will it be possible to make contributions online to the Jia Blackwell Memorial Scholarship Fund?

Answer: Next week. Stay tuned.

I'm not sure if you are just kidding around or not but, the whole Prince/Mani joking around aside, I must say I really despise people who avoid taking responsibility for their own actions by hiding behind the lame phrase: "don't hate the player, hate the game."

guess what - YOU choose to "play" "the game" and YOU choose YOUR actions. nobody is making you "play the game" or forcing you to do unscrupulous, selfish, or immoral things...YOU choose to do them of your own free will, not because of any "rules" of any "game".

that lame phrase is a copout and a way to not accept responsibility for YOUR OWN ACTIONS. tossing off a stupid phrase as a way of justifying bad behavior doesn't excuse your actions.

besides, how emotionally immature is it to reduce relationships, or your interactions with other human beings, to something as flippant as "a game". yeah, I'd reallly wanna get involved with a person who considers relationships, or how they interact with other people, as nothing more special or meaningful than merely A GAME. rolleyes imo, anybody who'd seriously try to use that phrase as a way to excuse or justify being an asshole should set off red flags as a person to NOT become involved with in any way.

Alright now , you need not to get the meaning of the saying twisted. The heart of the matter is this: relationships are a game and you take a gamble. Sometimes in love, you are successful and sometimes you are not.

As for Mani situation, its foolish for people such as yourself and others to contiually start threads and hate on her just b/c she suceeded in the game of winning
prince heart.

You need to take a damn chill pill and cool your ass down b/c everyone has a right to their opinion.

uh I've never started a thread "hating on" Mani. rolleyes

and I certainly hope for Prince's sake Mani didn't consider "winning Prince's heart (he changed his name back from a symbol, btw, in case you hadn't heard) akin to a "game". in case you didn't realize it, Prince is a real human being, not a trophy to be "won". (I am trying to make a point here how ridiculous it is to equate a relationship to a GAME, in ANY sense of the word.)

You need to take a damn chill pill and cool your ass down b/c everyone has a right to their opinion.
[Edited 9/26/04 23:00pm]

I think YOU need that pill more than I, dear. calm down yourself, and hey there's no need for the cussing. a little upset, are we? lol

ps - nobody said you didn't have a right to your opinion. I was merely stating MY opinion that anybody who considers human relationships on the same level as "a game" are immature and have no clue as to what a mature, adult relationship based on love and trust even IS, nor how to have a healthy, successful one.

can't handle what I said? well ain't that just too bad! biggrin

Again, you need to just take a chill pill and relax is all I saying. For you to start lecturing about relationship , it indicates that you may be overly dramatic and dealing with some repressed sexual energy. There is no sense in taking everything personally and calling people immature when its obivous that you are dealing with some issue s. Obiviously, you can't handle my frankness about this topic and thats too bad.
When it comes to relationships, whether you like or not you have to face up to it relationships are gamble (game). When you take that gamble to invest in relationship by having trust and care for the person that you are involved with, there is no telling what is the result. Relationships are unpredictable. This is why Divorce Court is popular. Ask Britney or J-Lo.

oh is that what it 'indicates'? um, okay let me get this straight, ms. cleo - that is coming from somebody saying how people need to stop "hating on" Mani when they don't know her?!? yet you make an assessment of me based on a couple posts on a message board? Hysterical!! where'd you get your psychiatry degree? wink

fyi - you have just totally ruined any credibility you had.

There is no sense in taking everything personally and calling people immature when its obivous that you are dealing with some issue s. Obiviously, you can't handle my frankness about this topic and thats too bad.

I wasn't. I was stating MY opinion and you got your panties in a wad over it. obviously you can't handle MY frankness. biggrin lol

and for the record, I never called you immature, specifically. talk about talking things personally...maybe you should examine YOUR reaction to MY opinion/s.

yes, the future of anything can be a gamble, so maybe we're just arguing semantics here but my point is still that A RELATIONSHIP ITSELF IS NOT A "GAME" AND EQUATING IT AS SUCH IS RIDICULOUS AND INDICATES A REAL LACK OF MATURITY AND UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP ENTATILS AND INVOLVES. can't say it much plainer than that, so I guess we'll leave it there.

Tim I wholeheartedly agree with what you are saying. Not that you have a personal dislike for the person, just the actions of that person, and others making excuses. call it what it is. don't try to excuse it. I have more respect for people who do dirt and says, "yup, I did it and I was wrong... than people who either 1) lie and say they didn't do the dirt or 2) say that the dirt wasn't wrong...
just stand up be a man (or a true woman) and own up to your actions.
But that takes maturity and character that some people just never get.
