Dez Dickerson Book Did anyone pick it up and read it? I find popular culture very interesting and Dickerson's account of being part of a movement was fascinating. He told it well and unbiased. I hope someone here picked it up

I actually won a copy from Dez himself at a music conference last month. I haven't read it yet, but wow, what a really cool guy he was! It was great.

Yes, I got it and found it very fascinating -- this is the first REAL look into Prince's early music years 1979-1984. The one thing that bothered me a bit was that Dez seemed to take credit for many things Prince did -- have to wonder. Anyway, I still love Dez -- he's an awesome man (of God). Peace.

I've had this book for about 5 months now. It's an excellent read. Dez was always my favorite in Prince's band. Even over Prince. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Hi,
I just received the book today. Great book, with interesting pics. About the pictures: how many are there in your books? I read an add for the book that says there are over 50, but mine has only about 40. Do I have a reprint with some 10 pics deleted? (for copyright reasons or so..) Please let me know! jaZZZZZ
