Catherine Glover(CAT) Appreciation Thread

How many of you miss Cat? I know i do. She had a presence about her that really helped light up the stage. She is a much better dancer than Mayte or Carmen Electra was. Her rap on Alphabet Street and her backing vocal were AWESOME. P's performances have just not been the same without her.

Did you ever hear her song "Catwoman"? It was probably the most underrated song of its time. What a hit she could have been if promoted properly. She could have been the next J.Lo or Janet(No, i am not saying she is better than them but i think she could hold her own)

nod I agree w/you 100% If she had been promoted she could've been the next Jody, Janet or J-Ho.

Cat in my opinion was an excellent dance, she brought something people liked. Her dancing style was so wild and crazt it was just a show in it's own to see her dance.

The single wasn't playlisted on any UK radio stations becuase of the "Radio 1 / Radio 2" lyrics.

Pretty stupid but it meant the single bombed

I also miss Cat. IMO, she came off as a dancer/entertainer who was actually a big part of Prince's shows, while Mayte came off as more of "somthing for the guys". Prince and Cat had a chemistry that only the two of them can have together.

The weird thing however, is it is amazing that NO ONE can seem to locate her. From time to time someone will report they saw a ex Prince associate in a club or in a record store, or at a concert of some sort, but not CAT. It's like she has completely disappeard.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.
