Wendy and Lisa working on Gwen Stefani solo Album http://news.yahoo.com/new...istsinplay Gwen Stefani (news), untitled (Nov. 23) Last hand: As frontwoman of No Doubt - whose last studio album, 2001's Rock Steady, has sold 2.8 million - the platinum blonde has become a darling of the music and fashion communities, with a firm foundation of critical and commercial cachet. New deal: Stefani will be accompanied by a crew of ace producers and co-writers on her first solo flight, among them Dr. Dre, Dallas Austin, Dave Stewart (news), The Neptunes, Andre 3000, Linda Perry (news) and Nellee Hooper. Depeche Mode (news - web sites)'s Martin Gore and Prince cohorts Wendy & Lisa are guest guitarists. Stakes: With No Doubt's future in little doubt, and a blossoming film career to boot, a successful solo bow could cement Stefani's stature as a multitasking A-lister. [Edited 9/17/04 10:04am]

Maybe as two seperate musicians and not joined at the hip playing the same instrument, I think that was Lovesexyistheone's point. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

Prince's too... like they never accomplished anything but "cohorting." And in a way, yes... still throw them in with Prince. Seems kinda funny, cause alot of other associated artists do not still have that tag. Maybe it's just me. [Edited 9/20/04 20:48pm] Lovesexy Funkateer
