St Paul.... St Paul "down to the wire" (1990)
Anyone have this album? It is cheesy 1990 era pop at it's errrr cheesiest....."stranger to love" is a song I just barely rememeber coming out, song is good, sounds very simular to Donny Osmond's "soldier of love" (written by same team) Alot of it is soo cheesy and uplifting that I like it really! "Heart to heart" "I never knew what love could do" "Next time u c my girl" All r so light and bubblegum, it is hard not to resist..... "Every heart needs a home" is a premier, if, like whole album, very dated track.....but it is a catchy, lovely sounding track.....I wonder if this was a single? Good song! Anyone else have this?

I still have the "cassette"! It squeaks when played!! When listening to it, I did also think of Donny Osmond. Mr Osmond also had a similar album out around at the same time! GGD

Sorry to disagree, but the album is great.
Yes, it may be Paul's attempt to become a popstar thru' mainstream but nevertheless there are lots of good songs on it. Paul is maybe the most talented of all ex-associates,

Paul is maybe the most talented of all ex-associates, U actually mean this?.....'cause as u may of read at the top, i like this album alot.....very cheesy but its so upbeat and happy it is hard not to fall under its poppy charm! Reminds me of a more innocent time in the charts too..... This sort of pop must be labelled as "the quickest most dated sort of pop ever"! I don't care though.....
