T.Q Remakes "Adore" but disses Prince on a previous album. West Coast R&B artist "T.Q." has made a remake of Prince's timeless classic "Adore" for his latest album "Listen" . It's kinda funny he does remake of Prince classic but a few years ago he disses Prince and Sisqo on a song called "G.H.E.T.T.O." from the album "The Second Coming". Here is the line( I had to change a word to Brotha for obvious reasons)

What T.Q. was dissing is the efeminate black male image. He probably was referring to Prince. Many rappers diss the emasculation of black males in the media and diss those who do it. Prince is a shining example of a "girly-man". It had nothing to do with Prince's musical skills or anything personal. It was a diss on the image alone. | |

There are certain songs NO ONE should remake, and Adore is one of them. That's like someone remaking "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. It just should not happen. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin. | |
