"If I had known it would go out of print, I would have kept...."

There isn't a Paisley Park album I didn't buy. Even the associated artists got my money on the release dates, cause you just never knew when a jam would pop up.

But everyonce inawhile, I'd get rid of some CD's that weren't getting play. Here are some albums I thought I could live without, that later I regretted that I got rid of and have either paid a pretty penny for it or haven't found it since:

Madhouse 8 & 16 - gave these to a girl I really liked. Aint heard from her in years. Damn her!!

Taja Sevelle - realized I wasn't keeping it for anything besides Love is Contagious and Fly For Your Painted Rainbow. have the vinyl though.

Jill Jones - what was I thinking? Thank GOD I found it again.

Apollonia 6 - saw the Japanese Import CD at a convention. WHY DIDN'T I GET IT THEN!!! - still have vinyl though.

Vanity 6 - was actually on CD for awhile. Never got it. Damn!

Wendy & Lisa - Fruit At The Bottom - who told Sony to take this out of print??

Anybody with any interesting stories?

Well, I started collected late, so I've missed on a lot of opportunities because of that... For CDs I wish I had, but are too expensive or too hard to find...

Madhouse 8 CD, finally got ahold of 16 though
Fortran 5, Blues
GoldNigga (I thought I purchased a legit copy on EBAY but it turned out it was just a really really really high quality boot. I don't know who made it)

Corky and the Juice Pigs- Damn!!! This is one of the funniest musical groups ever! They did a couple of shows on MADTV but they were a small time Canadian comedy troop. Their CDs used to be easy to find, but today... well, they're so rare you can't even find them on EBay. The closest I have found to their stuff was a rare CDN music store that was selling their CASSETTES for $40.00 EACH! BLAAAHDHFKHFSDKH!

Instead, I just downloaded the tracks and burned the CDs.

That's about it. The other's that I want are easy to find for cheap, just haven't gotten around to it. I am very proud to own the following:

Madhouse 16
Travelling Wilbury's Vol. 1 and 3. (their only two CDs, vol.1 covetted on the collector's market)

I used to see Jill Jones and the Madhouse CDs in the used bins quite frequently. I wish I picked up some extras when I could get them cheap. In fact I did pick up a couple of extra Jill Jones discs at Best Buy for under $5 when they were cut-outs. Traded those away moons ago...

I bought the Vanity 6 CD in 1993,when it was still very easy to find.I'm glad that I did because nowadays,I think it is out-of-print? I rarely see it anywhere these days.

I bought the Carmen Elektra CD in 1993 too,and even though most of it is crap,I'm gonna hold onto to it.Now that it is out of print,I figure it might be worth something one day...lol...

In the early 90s,I saw a Japanese import of 'The Family' CD at Tower Records.I think it was around $25.I never bought it but I wish I had because now I never see it.I have the vinyl album so it's cool.

In the mid-90s,I saw one of the Mavis Staples CDs in a record store and it was really cheap ($5.00,I think). It was a new copy too (not used).I wish I had bought it!
