Song wise?...I've always liked Waterfall and To Trip Is To Fall. Album wise....first one ...but the rest are worth getting. Also check out the work they did on Seals second album (?) and the work they've done w/Meshell. I will do today what you won't, so tomorrow I can do what you can't. | |

Best Album: This is very difficult. I think the first album edges out Girl Bros. by a hair for me. But they are all good.
Best Song: I agree "Reaching One" moves me like no other. I think it's the context of listening to it after Wendy's brother died. Most Prince-like: This is a no-brainer. "Lolly Lolly" that he remixed of course! Most Opposite: (of what? Prince?) I think most of the Girl Bros. album is far removed from their Minneapolis roots. Another song that struck me as very different was "Valley Vista". | |

personally,my fav album was the first album!....it had very moving songs 4 me!.....as 4 my fav song,hmmmmm...gotta go w/"Stay"that song absolutely is a killer song!.....opposite would have 2 be "Girl Bros".....but i do luv all 4 albums by them....they are great musicians! | |

Are You My Baby...no question. Opposite? I am guessing you are asking the most unlike Prince? Um...I think the whole Girl Bros album...but Reaching One has a purple feel to it imo. | |

What is the best album in general?
Overall in style it is Eroica. It had the strongest songs, the best balance. There ain't an ounce of musical fat on that album; it is lean. And if you are lucky you can find a limited edition that included a 3" cd single containing four Lisa Coleman piano improvisations. All recorded in Prince's livingroom. One of them called Minneapolis #1 that was called Visions on the never released Dream Factory album. What is the best song? Why Wait For Heaven (from Eroica) or The Life (from their self titled debut album). Personal cjoice. Indeed, like Chris said; it changes. And I also have a thing for Don't Try To Tell Me. What is the most Prince-like song? Certainly the b-sde to Waterfall called To Tip Is To Fall. Or maybe the extended version of Sideshow. What is the most opposite? I Got No Strings, the last song on Girlbros. | |

The A Starr ; What is the best album in general? I think Eroica is the most even in construction although none of the albums are bad
What is the best song? My favs from that lp is Porch swing/ Valley vista, but like everyone says it changes from time to time What is the most Prince-like song? What is the best album in general? girl bros.-To me it shows how they've evolved as songwriters the most, and I just love it from start to finish.
What is the best song? White off Wendy and Lisa comes to mind, but I love anything off girl bros. more. What is the most Prince-like song? Several off Wendy and Lisa (which makes sense), but above all the songs, Lolly Lolly. What is the most opposite? Anything on girl bros. seems like it's them and it's not heavily related to Prince.  | |

Best song- too many to name but today I'd say All I Wonder/Anyway Most Prince-like song- Are you my Baby Most opposite- the Girl Bros. cd because it's so raw and clean sounding Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council. | |
