The M&F article says she's going to drop an album next year.

I've been wondering about that much talked about upcoming album on her website. It's also very funny how some people are jealous of Mayte, as Prince's wife or not. Full Force said they had worked with her (at the time of her previous album). I wonder if those recordings are in the vaults too.  Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I think Mayte looks much healthier away from Prince. Her lack of talent shouldn't stop her from at least TRYING to sing, maybe she'll improve. Singing is something we all NEED to do, although maybe singing in private might be better for some. Having one's mouth and both hands full never stopped Prince from making albums. He's one of the biggest ho's in the industry. I AM BEATLOAF

Just wanted to point out once again that she was forced to sing in a much higher voice than is in her natural range. The newer demos sound great.
If you watch the BedHead commercial at mayte.com you can hear how low her voice really is. | |
