I am a big fan of Morris Hayes and he was always the coolest of any of the band members to talk to.But where is he now and what is next on his agenda.He was always great with fans and never would he pass a fan up who wanted to talk to him. I truly miss him on the One Night Alone tour.I think he is the best keyboardist that Prince has ever worked with and he is most definitely missed!!!

...Yeah, Morris' always cool. A fantastic musician, funky-as-he-wanna-be ... And a lovely cat to chat with. I second you on that one, he's great when it comes to talk with people ... always so respectful and so fine. I still remember first time I saw him, when he was a new-comer in 1993 ... most of the NPG was around, I was chatting with Levi (btw, what's he doing nowadays?) and Morris was nice enough to introduce himself with something like "Hi ... I'm the new keyboard player". It kinda surprised me that modest attitude and his niceness ...

Yeah, it's a shame he isn't around anymore. ...But that's life, I'm afraid !

Yeah Morris was #1. So friendly and I have to say he personally got me into quite a few aftershows and parties, e.g. the Tramps aftershow, NY, Summer'97 and the Emancipation launch party at paisley park. Thanks Morris Iwish you were still in the band.

Does anyone really know what happened or is it all just speculation on his recent departure? If you have details please give up the info!!!This was a guy that should be missed by all the fans of Prince's music. Is he working on his heretofore mention solo joint? Hope so cause I wish this musician much success with or without Prince.

i have to agree that he is really nice to fans. i talked to him twice before concerts, and he took the time to read my poetry, etc....he didn't have to go out of his way to do that.....he was real cool! hope all is good for him!
