Who the hell is Frankie? You know the "serve it up Frankie" referred to during the black album/lovesxy era, Just curious.

I meant to ask this question a couple of days ago, after listening to Lovesexy.

Any ideas?????

I asked this about a year ago but I don't think the search function is working on the Org.

Several people replied with various theories of real Franks (one was from Franki Goes To Hollywood, another was a sound engineer or something).

Personally, I thought it was some alter-ego of Sheila's, like Prince's "Camille", cuz Sheila was drumming at the time, and later in another song they say "Serve It Up Sheila". At seems to cue a drum solo or drum fill.

But noone seemed to really know for sure.
