Ew, that picture -- she has this "ghetto girl attitude" look on her face. She is reacting this way, making this face, because she knows how PRINCE female fans are. Most of Prince's female fans LOVE (more than LOVE) Prince. They love him in that "If-only-he-got-a-chance-to-see-me" kind of way. And if another girl out there is just as shrewd and smart as Mani, she might be the next "muse."

Mani has that "don't-mess-with-me" look in that photo. This is meant for those other female fans that want PRINCE as much as she did. And she got what she wanted (Lucky gal).

I wonder if she listens to I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER over and over again in the house they share together? Does she only listen to PRINCE music and nothing more? I wonder.

I remember a "friend" of Manuela's from high school said in an article that Manuela used to listen to I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER over and over.

And another thing, she's one year younger than me, but she looks as if she could be my aunt or something. If I were to talk to her in the street, I'd feel as though she was an elder talking to me. I feel that way around some people that are younger than me; they just seem so OLD already and so settled in life.

Prince's relationship with Mayte was an open book. People felt a connection to her because Prince flaunted her to the world. Prince will not expose his relationship with Mani like he did with Mayte, so many are resentful, hence all the hate that Mani gets. That's my take on it.

Mani is not strange, she is normal. I was listening to a radio interview with J.C. Chasez, and he talked about how wonderful it is having a "normal" girlfriend, not in the entertainment biz. "Brings normalcy back into my life."

So "goody" for Prince, he has what alot of entertainers don't.

To Prince and Mani, congrats on a wonderful union and best wishes for many many more happy and blessed years.

First of all let me state that I am happily married , and am not the least bit jealous of thier marriage. Now, I will state that I do not feel that Mani is the woman most deserving of Princes' new found monogamy and dedication. Mayte for instance, bore his child and stood by his side during the rough times with Warner Brothers. There are probably countless other women in Prince's past that had actual true love for him, but he was not ready at that time to accept it. In my opinion, he should explore other options, or better yet look up Mayte and patch things up...Mani was in the right place at the right time when Prince and Mayte were having problems..Let's name Mani "The Clean-up Woman"....

This is not a diss towards Mayte, but please don't give Mayte too much credit.....if she had really stood by Prince during the "rough times" she would probably still be Mrs. Nelson. .

But after that we were in New York, and he asked me to come see his show. Mayte, one of his dancers, flashed the engagement ring he'd given her from the stage. When I asked him about it afterward, he was very evasive and defensive.

well if the rumours about how mani got p r true. and if what nona gaye said is true. than mayte lost him the same way she got him too.
