i think for the sake of hype and publicity, when the movie came out it was "suggested" that prince and apples were a real-life item. i think apples played it up in interviews and whatnot, but i really don't think there was much truth in the situation.

I think he was with Shelia at the time or more Interested in Shelia actually. Remember Patty was PICKED as a FILL In FOR Vanity whom was suppose to play opposite Prince. Appolonia Was and Is a BEAUTIFUl LADY just Wasn't PRINCE'S TYPE. I will Never Forget how she Said Vanity had No Class compared to her as she WORE HIGH HEELS and VANITY Boots. Boy does HIGh HEELS constitute CLASS? I Like Boots MORE any Day as Heels kinda hurt My Feet.

I heard Prince made her sign something that she WOULDN"T date anyone when They were Together on the Film. That's what some girl said who was auditioning for her role. It was in People or Us magazine and Appolonia I thought got married AFTERWARD around FALCON CREST time David. What's the source about her being Married during filming?

I heard she was dating David Lee Roth around the time of PR and Prince told her to dump him! (I really did hear that rumor. lol)
