Mayte - 'Child of the Sun' album. Views? I played this again today, after years of dust gathering. Not classic, obviously, but a surprisingly pleasant listen, I think. + she's cute.
My fav tracks - 'Ain't No Place Like U' (real mood and attitude on this one. If P had saved/rewritten this 4 himself 4 'Emancipation', it might be well thought of), 'In Your Gracious Name', 'If I Love U 2night'. She's no great singer (I can well imagine P giving her vocal coaching for this!), but she has a kind of beguiling innocence in her voice. Over to you.

I like it, but I don't love it. I like "Baby Don't Care", "Ain't No Place Like U" and "If I Love U 2night". And I don 't like her voice too much, but she sounds really good in "Love's No Fun". But the rap on "House of Brick". Really, really, bad.

I love it. "However Much You Want" is one of my favorite songs of all time.
I think her voice could sound better, but it's not her fault. She has a deeper voice than what she was made to sing in. If you want to hear how low her speaking voice is, see the BedHead commercial at mayte.com, or get a copy of Tommy Lee's "Ashamed", or watch the Nip/Tuck clip at http://users.pandora.be/v...e/Tuck.zip password vc61
