TheDeacon	Which song did you like better:Nasty Girl, Sex Shooter or The Glamorous Life? Personally, i couldn't get enough of The Glamorous Life. I must have played that song a million times. I wore out one record and had to buy another. I will say though that Nasty Girl came a strong second. It still is one of the funkiest songs ever. Sex Shooter was pale in comparison to the others

"Sex Shooter is my favorite by far. "The Glamorous Life" was the beginning of the horns which I think Prince should leave out.

My favorites are:

Sex Shooter
Nasty Girl
The Glamorous Life

I didn't like Sex Shooter too much...is it me or was Apollonia a terrible singer??? My choices go as follows:

1. The Glamorous Life
2. Nasty Girl (I used to want to be Vanity sooooo bad - without the drug problem)
3. Sex Shooter

Nasty girl will always be the best! That song just has that beat and funky groove! When I hear this song I just have to dance! It also makes me think about Bevery Hills Cop, in that classic scene lol! Sex Shooter is second. Love the song! Especially the extened version. The Glamorous Life comes in third! I like it, but it just cant touch the other two.

Almost every other song Sheila did, was better than the Glamorous Life. Never been a fan of that song.

rockwilder	Nasty Girl was probably more influential and groundbreaking,but Glam Life is so energetic and catchy. Damn,but I can't get over the genius of Nasty Girl. "I'm a pig..so,magic elixir I swill"

Well this is prob ain't no surprise given my avatar....
but The Glamorous Life hands down!

The song is so good on so many levels. The horns (which were Larry Williams.....who never played on another P record again)... and all the pecussion..... c'mon!!!

The song takes on a whole new life after the vocals drop out. you gotta really put on headphones and hear all the subtleties Sheila does with the percussion. I can't imagine what it would have been like if it remained an Apollonia song... (not to 'diss Apples but Prince doesn't play percussion like Sheila!).

And live, Sheila does all kinda cool stuff with it.

As far as the other two... they both have their strengths. Vanity's Nasty Girl was revolutionary, and the bass and drum machine are so funky!

But there's something about Sex Shooter ..... it has a great hook I guess. Although the end of the long version is too funny....
