Jill Jones has a great voice. I thought her first album was great.

I'd have to go with Jill Jones' debut album.
In fact it's probably one of the best 'associated artist' albums to be released.

Well, I could actually listen to Taja's album. Jill's voice is not cool to my ears

Jill cd's has the upper hand cause alot or all of it is old prince outtakes.

i luckly got the cd on ebay for like 40-50 dollars a while back.

i think i liked Mia Boca better when it was just an instrumental in UTCM...but I LOVE me some Love is Contagious..i have it on one of my slow "doin the nasty" burned cd's and it always gets a good reaction from the 35 and older skanks i bring home

So it's settled - Taja's was better

But overall,her album is much more interesting than the Taja Sevelle album.

Jill Jones voice is brilliant, she puts so much emotion in her singing, whereas Taja Sevelle's voice is kinda annoying. I also prefer the songs on Jill's album to the ones on Taja's, but the voice is the main reason that Jill Jones' album is my fav record of any Prince protegé, while I hardly ever listened to Taja's LP. In fact I prefer Jill Jones album to many of Prince's albums

Although you have to take your hat off to Taja. She had a hit single and album in the UK, something no other Paisley album could do.
