Remember these two guys from the SOTT movie? I can't remember which was which but one was really fat and the other always wore a hat. Who were they anyway? They just disappeared as soon as they appeared.

Yeah and good riddance to them. Those guys were complete Darryl's and had no business being onstage with Prince.

To the best of my recollection they were his bodyguards. Prince saw them goofing off and dancing on the side of the stage during the Purple Rain tour and decided to incorporate them into the act.

Gregory Brooks was in the Rackoon/Russian hat and Wally Safford was the heavy set guy. Greg was an asshole... he was interviewed on Video Soul during the Sign ‘O’ The Times Tour, and had a big chip on his shoulder. Acting like Prince wouldn't be where he was without him.

I might be mistaken, but I think you can see them in the Purple Rain movie, doing The Bird as well. They're probably hanging out with Tony, Damon and Kirk, or wherever all the former members, that no one knows where they are, hang out.
