Jill Jones Mia Bocca can somebody translate the chours to the song for me...I know she is singing about her or someones mouth. I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.
I am not taína. Taíno is in me, but there is no way back. I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there. I am new. History made me. My first language was spanglish. And I am

I've always wondered exactly what this song is about. In the song,Jill apparently has a lover whom she loves alot, but she is now turned on by some other dude that she has met.She insists that "We gotta do something",and since the song is called "Mia Bocca" (my mouth),I think she means that she can only love the other dude with her mouth??
I know this is a crazy interpretation,so if y'all know the true meaning, please help me out here
