Prince produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis? Do you think Prince would let them produce one of his future albums? i think it would be interesting to see what they come up with. What do you think? It's better to have and not need, than to need and not have!

I think Prince might still be to proud to do this. As far as others producing his records is concerned, I think he would probably be to proud to have ANYONE produce his records....
On another note: Does anyone have an explanation for the frequently occuring phrase of ' Who wrote that? ' during Prince's performances of 'What have you done for me lately?' at the end of the Nude tour? Is it possible that the three of them already worked together? EELCO

Jam and Lewis are great producers, but nowadays, they use ALOT of samples in their productions. All three hits from Janet's recent CD are based on samples from old 70s' hits.

No.
Although it would be an interesting album, the sound that Jam & Lewis create is WAY removed from the direction he's heading right now. Also - the pride issue is a factor as well...though he may well allow others to produce albums in the future for him, it certainly won't be a pair that he fired over 20 years ago.
