POP UPS - JUST SAY NO! Sign here.... Ok, at 1st they seemed a cool thing, but now... org pops annoy the FUCK out of me. Ive deleted EVERYONE from my buddy list in an effort 2 stop slowing my enjoyment of this site.
It seemed a cool little tool at 1st, but it's kinda pointless - we have the chat room, we have org messages. So Im making a stand: NO MO' ORG POPS! 
So, all in favour of getting rid make yourselves heard and sign below....  | |

How about just making orgpops optional? If you are in lurk mode, people can't pop you - so there should be an option under MY ORG that allows you to be shown as online but there's no option to pop.
Just look at all of the complaints in this forum that the orgpops are NOT working. People are working themselves into a tizzy over this. Orgpops are unlimited and quick, unlike orgnotes! .. [This message was edited Sat Jun 26 13:16:31 2004 by Natsume] I mean, like, where is the sun? | |

I myself like the orgpopups, even though I havent been getting them for a few weeks now.
I think they are more on a personal level than orgnotes.Probably a little easier to deal with when it comes to maintenance.Alot of people just let old orgnotes pile right up.And if you choose the option to have the org notify you when your message is read, your going to accumulate them rather quick.I feel orgpopups also help in the area of multiple accounts.I've noticed people saying the reason there obtaining these account is due to running out of orgnotes so quickly.The chatroom here for most is not an option.No disrespect meant, but the chatroom on this site needs alot of work. i've only popped with a couple of people, and we've just moved it to messenger.

I like orgpops... I just have one gripe with them. It seems that you can pop someone well after they've logged off. So I'm sending these messages to people who are already long gone. Is there any way it can all be updated faster, e.g. being able to tell more accurately if people are still online? Or are people just refusing to answer my orgpops? I mean, like, where is the sun? | |
