and, i agree that in a public forum we all have a responsibility to self-monitor our own reactions to what others post as well as our own actions in posting. for me, i'm of the 'skip that thread/post' mentality when i come across things i don't like on this site. i think i've only ever reported anyone once/twice? because i usually just shrug and move on, don't let it get to me.

i didn't see your pic before you posted it here, so i can't know what my honest reaction to seeing it in the context of the original thread would have been. i don't know if i would have reported you. i might have, or maybe not. i did report Ardeo, but i think he's about the only one i've ever reported. i was kinda joking and serious at the same time. anyway the image you posted is definitely disturbing on many levels. i don't know if you should apologize for it or not, i'm not a moderator and can't make that call.

the only thing is i seem to notice when there's a lot of drama happening on the org ben or someone has to take time out to personally come here and look into things and make a post or announcement or tweak the system, any and all of which might not be the funnest thing for him on his weekend time off etc. so, i'm in favor of erring on the bland side here because i'm afraid one day we'll make such a huge, disagreeable noise over here the moderators will go on strike, ben will throw his hands up and say 'f-it' i'm done with this mess and the org will crash forever.
