The gallery gets a moderator... The new image gallery is starting to take shape, and I'm happy to announce that bananacologne will be taking on the role of moderator for that part of the site. He's been saying he's the "org photo librarian" for a while, and contributing greatly in that regard, unofficially, in the PM&M forum. Now, it IS official, he really is our photo librarian!
I'm happy he's accepting my invitation to handle the gallery, and know he'll do a great job. He'll be responsible for classifying the images, deleting inappopriate stuff, and coming up with ideas about how to improve it. I look forward to a kick-ass gallery, content-wise! Thanx! I really hope that things are starting 2 pay off - but the gallery will only ever be as good as org members make it by their very interaction, so upload ur pix! There are so many sections there, and im sure in time there may be more if the need arises!
If ur upload/s are not seen straight away, then there are a handful of resons why that may be: it could be they need approving 1st, or maybe they have already been posted. Of course, if ur upload is a better quality/higher red image than the current one, then Ill ensure it gets placed 4 all 2 see. Also, pics taken from other sites are kind of a grey area that we don't really want 2 get in2 if possible (and ESPECIALLY pix that have blatantly been CROPPED will NOT make the cut.) So dont worry, if u can't see what u have uploaded straight away. Also, I think one of the strengths 2 this gallery is the information that can be added, I think it's an invaluable tooll that is sitting their waiting 2 be exploited - Im slowly working my way thru them, and adding what I can (I was up until 2:30am the other morning!) What can I say? It's addictive!
