What about making the signatures appear with a smaller font size? It could improve the overall usability of the whole site, since now it's sometimes hard to distinct what's a reply / what's not. Or alternatively the signature slot could be coloured a bit differently from the main message - for instance just with a tad lighter shade of grey.

Actually a lighter shade of purple would be a better idea than grey, so it wouldn't get mixed with the included quotes and would look much nicer with the bottom bars.

Thirdly, and I guess more importantly, a script that would place the signature at the bottom of the message automatically in relation to the avatar pic (the last character of the included signature would be placed on the lowest line of the whole combined message/signature are) would be very warmly welcomed. Now, when posting short messages it almost comes off as if the signature was the actual message and the message a title for it.
