What's Up With the "Sticky"? In the General Discussion section. Why is it a sticky, and how did it get to become a sticky?

mods can create 'sticky' threads--it's in case there's somethin important we wanna address in a certain forum.

its called a sticked thread because it sticks at the top of the forum page instead of eventually going to the bottom once discussion on the thread has ceased. In other words the sticky thread will always be on top of other threads
