I think it would be a really helpful change if the moderator-posted news and event threads showed up bolded or in a different color, to distinguish them from the day-to-day conversational threads...not that any topics are more important contributions than others, but a visual "red flag" about a hot news flash would be very cool, especially with all the stuff ol' purplepants has going on these days.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing myself. I'll see what I can come up with.

How do you view news items that are no longer featured? I thought there used to be a "More News" link or something...
