reliability of OrgPops

some potential problems with the new OrgPops:

1) if you are using Opera in "Refuse pop-up windows" mode, you're screwed.
U need to turn it back on when visiting Prince.org. U will have already missed out on pop-ups people have sent u when running in this mode.

2)If you are using Mozilla Firefox 0.8 and you haven't specifically configured Prince.org in:
Tools > Options > Web Features (to stop it from blocking pop-ups for prince.org), you're also screwed, orgpop-wise.

3) If you are using any other browser (Mozilla 1.x) or other browser like IE with add-on to block pop-ups, chances are you have missed out on some pop-ups too.

You can always test by orgpopping urself.

I'd recommend orgnotes for reliability and compatibility without weird situations arising from people not responding to your messages.

if anyone has orgpopped me in the past and I haven't responded, you'll know why.
Thoughts?

Cynical, you are right about the points you mention. You do need to disable popup blocking from www.prince.org for it to work (but you used to need to do this for profiles, and events, to work too... so...)

Jessy, if your "firewall" is doing this, it's doing more than a firewall should (but it IS possible... unlikely, but possible.). Check to see if there is some kind of popup blocker in use, and if so, see if you can tell it to allow popups from the "prince.org" domain.
