Grammy's - Negativity

Not that anyone gives a shit...but after the negative comments I've seen here lately, especially 2nite (over the Grammy performance)...I'm leaving and deleting my account.
(Not a cry for attention...just want to give my 2 cents)

I know everyone is entitled to thier opinion and doesn't have to agree with everything Prince does but Jesus...some of U people are sooo negative it's SAD. sad

No, I'm not one of thoes people who thinks everything Prince does is earth shattering or the greatest but this is a fan community but U wouldn't know it.

Also I am not one of thoes people who hang out at the NPGMC all day either..the site doesn't do much for me.

I think being a Prince was much more fun before I found the internet.

Thanks for reading. smile

Before you leave, you might want to consider that a lot of people on this site are not Prince fans. They always post negative stuff to piss off the fans. I guess it's a hobby.
I have to admit, I've been guilty of it too. I've gone on MJ sites a couple of times and posted sh*t about Michael. His fans lose their damn minds. It is kinda funny reading all the flames I get, but I don't spend all my time there, like some of the haters here do.
Bottom line, don't take it personally. If YOU enjoy Prince, that's all that matters.

I've been on the Org a couple of years and I am surprise by the level of whinging (never thought I'd say that!) regarding Prince's Grammy performance. Some people have made up their minds to criticize everything Prince does. rolleyes But that is their problem.

Personally, I’ve not seen it yet but am really looking forward to it. It has been awhile since I’ve not been embarrassed to say I’m a Prince fan..lol.

Um. . .but. . .see, the thing is. . .it was a really lame performance.

I understand, though. I left the org 'cause there are alot of cruel bastards here. But then I realized that there are cruel bastards everywhere, and at least the ones on the org will know what you are talking about when you reference a Prince lyric or something. shrug Plus, there all of the fabulous queers! woot! rainbow

Ah, well.

In a twisted way, the complaints are a bit of a compliment. We've seen Prince tear it up live, the grammy performance was only scratching the surface of what he's capable of.

seriously DJ I see what you mean. People round here need to remember that an artist doesnt make music to impress or apease his fans, he makes music because that is what he loves to do.

That's exactly it. And look at the critics drool over it! Imagine if he had actually done his thing.

I think peeps need 2 get a fucking grip, that's what I think.

As 4 this whole 'level of negativity' 2wards the Grammy performance, I'd say the opposite is actually the truth - the volume of threads and positive reponse 2 it says enough, so I dont know where u guys got that from!

Personally, I thought it was treadmill stuff - I/WE KNOW he can do better. But that aside, u cant argue with the media attention he has gained from it - so, in the end it comes down 2 being a good thing.

At the end of the day it all comes down 2 perspective - HOW u look at it is what counts.

And 2 those who cant even handle some negative/different opinions on a website - why dont u go the whole distance, and get offline!

Free yourselves - run 2 the hills! Destroy your modems!

Well I think that considering the space of time Prince had, he wanted to fit in as much as possible, so he did something rushed, however I still think he tore it up...he didnt have as long as Pfunk did, they had 11 minutes, they had time to stretch it out and really jam...Prince didn't, so...
The Org is the short yellow bus of the Prince Internet fan community.
