I don't mean to offend anyone who created this new place, because it might be pretty handy, but... hmm...how do I put this? It's weird!
Is it normal that some things don't function properly yet or am I missing something?
It looks as if this new look was made for people with vision problems; HUGE letters, though I believe that most of us ain't THAT blind, just because most spend their whole day in front of the screen.


Some of the new options are cool, but it's also terribly.. naked - the whole appearance. Empty, that's what I'd call it.

I miss the old .org....

Its very busy Ben. Very hard on the eye IMHO.

I much preferred the layout before, and the purple was not as harsh on the eye

U have done a huge job on it though, even though I don't like it I can't deny the work done.

The homepage is what I have a problem with. The news section specifically looks bare. Add more description to each item the way it was in 2.0

I agree. I liked 2.0 a lot better and I hate the giant writing on this one, though I do appreciate all of the work you guys have done on the site to try to improve it.

Perhabs a light shade of purple. I think the overall look is a bit too messy due to the many new features and a certain lack of clear visual boundaries between the features. It makes navigating the site - at least for now- seem difficult. Perhabs you could consider that too. In any case, I think it's cool you are improving the site and making the org. experience even more worth while. Lots of kuddo's for that!

That was one of my favorite parts!

Well, I remember when the site changed over to 2.0 and
at first I thought it was all wierd and not right. Then of course,
I got used to it and forgot the old-style org and all was fine.

I must agree though that i don't feel that there was anything
"wrong" with the 2.0 version and this new one will take some
getting used to.

No matter what I think of it though, thank you for all of your efforts Mr. Ben.
and you can bring back the Prince quotes anytime you like

It's nice to know that I'm not alone in thinking that stuff is just looking weird here. I wish that the quotes would come back and I totally agree about the visual appearance of the site. It is INCREDIBLY hard to navigate. And also a note to Ben: WE AREN'T FRIGGIN' BLIND! The font doesn't have to be so enormous! But after all the work you've done....I say thank-you. giant letters? not for me...if you're gettin super-huge letters when you're on this site, here's a suggestion:

1) go to your browser's toolbar and hit "view"

2) scroll down to "text size"

3) scroll down to "smaller" or "smallest", depending on if you've got your text size set to "medium", "larger" or "largest".

I just need to get used to the new look but i like it nice so far. good job, ben!

It's nioce to know that I'm not the only one with complaint. As said by many before, I too appreciate your huge work on this, it must have taken a long time!
But I still find it too white, to naked.
