For example, I find the white background makes some of the purple hues a little tough to make out. So I made the main body's background a light gray ("body { background-color: #e8e8e8; ... }") and then darkened the boxed items on the right of the main page (".boxed { background-color: #ccc; ... }"). That's just an example of an alternate style sheet that could be made available for those that find the main one hard to read, or that enjoyed more of the v2.5 look.
