I;d like to suggest making a sticky topic option. A sticky topic is one that stays at the top of the forum always, regardless of when the last post was on it. They are normally only available to moderators & are used if a thread answers a question that many people have requested an answer to.

We could do with some sticky threads over in the musicians forum to cover the cloud guitar, how to get your music online & Prince tabs

Those would also be nice in the Prince forum. There could be one about what race he is, so there wouldn't have to be so many threads dedicated to it.

a link to an FAQ regarding those faq's at the top of each forum might be a better idea. having the same 5-10 threads at the top of the page all of the time is only asking for trouble. they will result in extremely long threads that become hard to open, and prime targets for thread-jacking and arguments.
