Star ratings problem

the star voting box doesn't disappear after you've rated a thread. i've gone to give a few star ratings to some threads, only to be told that i've already rated them.

Actually, that's kind of the way it's designed to work... needs an improvement to work as you expect it to. One day!

well, it worked fine before. after you voted on a thread, the voting box would no longer appear on subsequent visits to the thread.

actually, it stopped working right about the time the L/S/R forum was added.

No, you only thought it worked differently. It doesn't show the rating box upon immediate returns to the thread, but will otherwise, and always has.

no, i'm sorry, but it used to disappear forever after you had voted on a thread.

One thing I don't like...

If you rate something 3 stars say (and say you're the only rater) then it shows up as having 3 stars. Lovely. Everyone can see it's a 3 star thread.

BUT!
If you rate something with 0 stars, it looks the same as if it's never been rated - ie there's nothing there!

There should be somehting like a 5 empty stars symbol that shows in that situation.
