How to do an avatar I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the thread. Could some nice person please give me instructions for doing an avatar? I am somewhat technically challenged and could really use some  Thanks!!! | |

Hi there kisscamille,
Okay first of all you start with an image of some kind, like a photo you have scanned or downloaded or whatever. Then you use an art package to shrink it down to a small size (for example Adobe Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro) such as 64 x 64 pixels. Also, reduce the number of colours so that the image is small to download. If you have a problem shrinking your image down, email me and I'll shrink it for you. Then you simply go to Prince.org, go to Extras, Your Org Profile, Edit Your Profile, Forum Settings. Then simply browse to your saved image on your hard drive. Once we have "approved" your avatar it will be visible beside all of your posts. Regards Ian | |

I'll have to find a really great pic before I start. I may need to take you up on your offer of helping me shrink the pic as I don't know how to use photoshop etc. I will save these instructions so I don't have to ask this again.  | |
