to the critics of the ORG's new forum, the moderators, etc. what's up?
i've noticed in recent months a lot of drama over decisions that the ORGgods (i.e. those who created, maintain and own this site) have made regarding the way the ORG is moderated, who moderates the ORG, the content of the posts on the ORG and now the new forum. the quarrels and whining over these issues are getting really really old, imo. it's just... boring already please. take a deep breath and try to remember that it's not *your* site and that the owners of this site are fully entitled to do what they please with regard to moderation issues and the format of this site. remember that you agreed to abide by the ORGgods' terms of use when you applied for an account. remember that you have the option to ignore the new forum if it really offends you. enjoy the GOOD stuff that's here, ok? there's a lot of it. tons of information about prince-related news and events from around the world, free access to the site, a lovely chat room, various forums in which we can express ourselves relatively freely, ORGnotes, lots of little goodies for us to enjoy and it's all provided through the generosity of the ORGgods. we should thank the ORGgods, not complain about their attempt to accommodate the needs of their members*. ok. i'm done ranting. remember i love y'all and don't take this post too personal. *(no pun intended) | |

What do you mean? There is no mention of any specific forums in the terms of use or site rules - why would there be? It's just another forum. Ignore it or use it. Same rules apply there as everywhere else on the site. | |

ok ok i was preachy and i'm sorry. i'm not into ass kicking. no one's perfect and i didn't mean to come off like i am. it's just, i think this is a cool website and it's actually great that the Gods of the ORG care enough about us to populate our little garden of eden with interesting new fruits and flowers. ok so maybe the new forum will not be a such sweet smelling flower as it grows, but let's see what happens before we stop burning incense for the Gods of the ORG who labor, wageless and unsung for our delight. | |

i agree. great site, and i like (most of) the moderators. i just think that forum is a completely stupid idea. | |
