Some things are a little over the top and i think the moderators knew it would be too much work trying to get everyone to use tact when talking about sex. thank you... this is what i'm saying... cause there's something annoying as hell about opening up the GD forum and seeing a thread about teaching dogs how to have sex with women... especially for people who use the org at work...

with the addition of the new forum, shit like that shouldn't happen anymore...

the reason why the PR forum got started is because the GD forum had so many PR topics that it made sense that it should have it's own forum... the same can be said about all the sex threads... if they are that popular, give it it's own forum...

Now if they would just get rid of that "Prince Music & More" forum, then the site would be perfect.

Exactly why on earth does the new forum disturb people?

The new forum isn't an invitation to get lewd. It was happening already... arguably to the point that the GD forum was being littered with crass adult-oriented threads and offensive comments. The vitality of the GD forum will remain intact -- only now it can exist less hindered by provocative statements that have been appropriately shifted where those who get into that stuff more indepth can enjoy it.

After all, does your neighborhood mall have a porn shop?

Anyway, it;s just a website. Geez.

i agree with althom. the new forum isn't the end of the world or the end of the org. it's just completely unnecessary.

there should be fewer forums, not more.

for one, because there is a lot of redundancy (associated artists should be grouped with prince, fan gatherings could also go in prince, as well as concerts).

i hated when they split off the P&R forum from GD, but in hindsight, it's a good thing, because political and religious discussions weren't just going on in their own threads, but were like a disease jumping from thread to thread to thread, tainting the whole thing.

still, there's absolutely no reason why a new forum is needed. the sexual content comes and goes in waves, like every other topic. giving it its own forum only encourages people to work the site up into a orgasmic frenzy and keep that fad on the front burner, whereas it would have died out on its own, like all of the others do (like the mafia threads, and several others).

i've got no problem with people talking about sex, i encourage it, but to legitimize the site's obssession with it with its own forum is pointless and an unnecessary addition.

I agree with what you said about people not voting seriously. I voted against the idea, I think it's rather odd to have a love and relationships forum on a PRINCE website but hey, I kinda see why some people would want it shrug, after all almost all of my posts were spent on nonsense talk and not on music threads.

So I'm sorry folks left, but I think the drama will die down eventually. As for me I'll see ya over in the GD althom hug

well,
i think its "interesting", for sooo many people to go on-an-on about their SEX LIFE, their preferences with whomever, when?, and what? so now theres a forum about it an oooh! stop an NOW start thinking...it just goes to show ya that some still have limits as to what they allow their minds to consume, which is good, because i see NOTHING good coming out of topics about "beastiality" "anal-sex"...heck whats next combining subjects about children an sex together, (THERE ARE 100's OF SITES OUT THERE TO APPEASE THE PERVERSED!!!) where do you draw the line, theres a "suggestion" or "line drawn" in the religion forum, right? i personally dont think theres anything "wrong" with "the forum", (I JUST WONT GO THERE!) BUT! maybe there should be limits, just like everything else in life...
but i realize "that statement" wont sit well with many of you because having LIMITS is the "ISSUE" in the first place,
ill raise my hand, that i still have a conscience!

~Amen to that. hug While there is much here I don't agree with, I have (for the most part) took a stand in which... "I choose" what I influence my mind in, here and everywhere else in my life. rose

My take, why add to the insanity... it seems far to easy to fall into "societies norm", it takes far more strength and integrity to stand out from the rest. Again, remaining true to self, respecting self and loving thy self is key. There is a proper place and time for everything, if done with respect and moderation. peace

For me, speaking positive (no matter what emotion is stirred) is my direction and will continue to be.

Disturbing topics will always exist, it's all about choice and what we see as fit for ourselves. Such is life.

*sigh* I don't have energy for this... but I wanted to give you a hug Silver. heart

~Beautiful Day rose

Nicely said by both of you. I was shocked because i didn't think i had a limit, but i guess i did  Some things are a little over the top and i think the moderators knew it would be too much work trying to get everyone to use tact when talking about sex. So they decided to make a place where they could go crazy by themselves. I think creating a new forum pleases the most people and is a sensible solution to the obscene sex talk.

I agree immensely with the 3 of U, & any others joining us...Some threads concerning sexual issues ALWAYS have & STILL do bother me. I'm talking about the ones that R more KINKY, PERVERSE, and just plain PORNOGRAPHIC, sometimes involving prince, and even God! However the milder forms concerning mainly LOVE & RELATIONSHIP issues that R common 2 us all, are acceptable, IMO. I think certain threads shouldnt B allowed on the org NO MATTER what forum they go 2. If a person wants & needs 2 talk obscene, I'm sure there R other sites 4 THAT! This is primarily a PRINCE & subjects RELATING 2 prince site, & making it so smutty that now theres a seperate "forum" 4 it doesnt jive with me. If the LOVE/SEX topics were monitored more closely & deleted when they go extreme, we could "keep it all 2gether". One would NEVER get by with even some of their content on the NPGMC site!!! There has 2 B limits set.
May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love. hug kisses
