Function request... A function that allows you to flag particular THREADS, so that when you log in, it will tell you whether new messages have been added...maybe in orgnote fashion. This would be especially useful for dumb idiots like me who can't remember a thread I may have joined, or even started!
Does anyone feel me on this one? Don't worry, I've already forgotten I've posted this one. He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. - Albert Einstein

What I do to remember which threads I've posted on is to open the thread I'm interested in, and save it under my favorites folder on the internet. That way I can just open the favorites folder up and click it back open to see if anybody added anything to it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

could work, but i'm just too lazy to bother with making bookmarks each time. I'd have to file them under different forums, then I'd have to remember to delete them if they become useless! yeah I know I'm lazy. No you're not lazy. I get so many bookmarks that I have to go through periodically to delete them. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

All you have to do is go into your org profile and click on list post by "you" and a list of every thread you've ever posted on will come up.

Something like this is in the works, partially complete... but it's more of a "subscribe" thing, so that not only can you go to a page that shows the posts you're 'subscribed' to, but you can potentially even get email notifications (we'll see how much affect this has on my mail server!) when others add to the thread. ben -- "the prince.org guy" |

I remember when fams had this function during the great blackout...received millions of emails, one every time someone posted something. Yechhh A simple list of subscribed threads sounds great though. Fear is the mind-killer.
