note what i said on my initial post. there are times when threads get ugly
however, most people will work out their own beefs true, and i've seen it happen before...but yet n'still you gonna have a lot more cases of people buttin heads over stuff and shit starts poppin off. lettin folks work stuff out on their own just don't cut it at certain points. eventually it'll have to be dealt with, as opposed to keepin stuff goin. certain issues are going to be heated
oppressive moderation stifles free thought it seems as if certain people are allowed to attack others while some are always kept on a short leash moderatin a site ain't the easiest thing in the world. yeah, there's some times when it appears that innocent folks get booted while others appear to have gotten off scot-free. thing of it is, we mods ain't the only ones who gotta deal with folks who are actin up. if it appears that somebody's actin up on a thread, all you gotta do is hit that 'report to moderator' link on their post and they'll be dealt with as well.

Tonight, Essence was NOT "overmoderated".
I was present and witnessed it in its entirety (other than orgnotes, obviously). Essence was going from one thread to another, from forum to forum, and would not stop flaming--even when people stopped responding to him. The namecalling was nasty, and the tone quite aggresssive. Otherwise, I can see your point, sumtymes.

With several other controversies, I came in late or heard about it 2nd or 3rd hand, or had personal prejudices/feelings about the Orgers involved. Tonight was the first night I'd ever really noticed Essence, I had no prior experience with him.
