if you follow an emoticon with a continued quote from someone, it's problematic. for example...

detaches the first colon and makes the emoticon command word bold.

OK, I think this is fixed now... but there are certain limits to what it will recognize as a "quote lead-in". Stick the the simple stuff ("user said:" for example) and things will definitely be OK.

Do you know how foolish our previous posts look above, talking about things being broken and there they are working correctly? :LOL:
