Go to "Extras" in the top right hand corner of your screen. Click on "your 'org' profile." Click "edit your profile" on the left. Then click "Forum Settings" and follow the directions for uploading an avatar. It has to be a picture saved to the Web (or obtained from a website) and has to be smaller than the max size.

No, the avatar pictures can be uploaded from your harddrive.
Only pictures posted in the forum or in your profile have to be online already. | |

To upload an avatar - first of all you need an image. You can prepare it in whatever you favourite paint package is... e.g. Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop etc. Anyway if your image is around 64x64 pixels, and is <15kb you should be fine. Just go to the "Extras" menu in the top right, and to "your Org profile". From there go to "edit profile" and to "forum settings" I think. From there you can upload the image. Once the image is approved (you shouldn't be waiting more than a few hours max) it will be visible. Feel free to give me a shout if you have any more questions. | |
