Multiple Accounts..... I just wanted to find out if there is an official "org policy" or something like that regarding users having multiple accounts. I'm just curious if there is a limit to the number that people can have, or if the sky's the limit, so to speak.

Why would anyone want or need multiple accounts?? 
I never got that!!! Perhaps to agree with themselves or to give themselves props when no one else will>>>

Our official policy is that we don't really mind if people want to use more than one account. Ben doesn't have a problem with it anyway, and nor do I really.
However if someone creates an account specifically for causing trouble or flaming, obviously we'll take action in such cases. Also, if someone's behaviour requires us to temporarily deactivate their account, we may deactivate all of their accounts, not just one of them. The only problem with multiple accounts arises when people are just abusing the system somewhat... for example if someone sets up 8 new accounts in the space of 24 hours, we get suspicious and start deleting accounts. Simply because - no one needs that many accounts, and giving one person that many accounts gives them a whole lot of "spamming" power to abuse the forums with. | |

the uses of multiple accounts:
COMIC RELIEF CYBER STALKERS (stayin on the DL) PLAIN OLE FORGOT how to get in the 'other' one and last but not least TROLLIN!!! i hid Cheech out for quite some time. i is jus don wants nobodys ta knows dat dis ha i really talks i am KING BAD!!!

What do you mean by "misleaders"? People can say what they want --even if they dont mean it--they'll use another name just for that "view". Maybe to instigate a vendetta or go with the majority to hide their insecurity and/or ignorance. | |
