Why do we only get 20 orgnotes a day? I love the idea of orgnotes and I'm not complaining at all, I just wondered why 20? It seems an arbitrary number. I run out everyday is there anyway we can have more. Please  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Yeah I guess your right, I wish we could have an org instant messenger. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

I've recently discovered the joys of sending yourself Orgnotes. It's fun, safe and you're guaranteed to get a good response.

Well, I guess Ben had to set some upper limit... but if enough people want the limit increased I don't imagine that would cause any problems.
Orgnotes aren't a substitute for a real IM tool of course (as people here have mentioned) but if the limit is causing a problem for enough people, I imagine it wouldn't be a problem to increase the limit. | |

Actually, there IS an org 'instant messenger' feature, about 75% complete. I was working on it a month or so ago, but never finished it. It'd be pretty cool, at least considering that it's all javascript-and-html... maybe I'll get some time to finish hacking on it soon. ben -- "the prince.org guy" |
