Prince. org is become something I call a site for serious Prince Fams....! And that may b good or not. And just look at the General Discussion - every other thread is about either: lesbians, gays, sex, other Orgers, more sex or even more sex and everything that has to do with sex!
I am truly disappointed, cause I really hoped this would b serious stuff to talk about, but there r only few people who make the forums fun.. And by the way - what the heck is those famous Caption time and Alphabet Soup threads about?? Never got them really...  | |

We have the Prince forum for discussing Prince if you wish. We have a Music forum for discussion of other music if you wish. We have a musicians' hangout forum for you, if you are a musician. We have a Politics & Religion forum, if you want to get serious. And yes we have a General Discussion - which exactly what it sounds like - discussion about anything. It's very popular because it is easy for people to dip in and out of it, and it is the more "social" and light of the forums .Of course it is sometimes pointless and silly - that is why it exists - it is a "catch-all" forum for stuff that doesn't fit the other categories. If GD isn't for, there's plenty more stuff on this site to keep you occupied. If you want serious discussion, try the Politics and Religion forum. If you really can't find anything here that interests you, I respectfully suggest that you find a site that does interest you. If you want to hang around but you'd like it to improve, why not make some effort yourself to improve it? As for the regular threads such as "Caption Time" and "Alphabet Soup" etc - these are humourous threads created by our users. Next time you are on such a thread, why not try asking politely how the thread works (if you are unsure) and I'm sure you'll find plenty of friendly Orgers willing to explain it to you. | |
