Why are gossip threads about Prince’s health allowed here?

I don't understand why it's OK to have a thread in Prince Music & More that is just all speculation about his health. What purpose does it serve? And how is it respecting his memory and legacy?

It's 3 years of same gossip, hearsay, blaming this or that person for his passing (scape goat), innuendos and arm chair detectives. lol

And some just cannot accept how he passed (overdose).

Why do you have this concern since you are a participant in that thread????

That thread discussion is now closed. lock

You can't control what people talk about or what way people should honor Prince.

The death thread is close again on this org happy? But the Prince world is bigger than the org and people are going to continue to talk about Prince's death whether you like it or not. It is not going away because you don't like it. And frankly, I am am sick of you whining about these death threads when you continue to come back on those threads for the last nearly four years now. Let it go, the speculation of Prince's death won't stop.

Girl you just have to get use it as I don't know what else to say. People are still talking about the deaths of Marilyn Moore and JFK and they been dead while Prince was just entering preschool age. lol Don't get me started with Elvis Pressley (died in 1977), Jimi Hendrix (died in 1970) plus Tupac and Biggie and Kirk Cobain the media still talking about their deaths.

As a matter of fact I think the media sensational about Prince's mysterious death seems minimal compared to other celebrities deaths that I mentioned and people already moved on outside Prince's fanbase so the fans who are tired of the talk about Prince's death should be gratitude.

Oh I never said you did and I know which mod who lock it up. smile

Nevertheless locking up death threads is not going to stop people from speculating about his death especially when the participants in that last death thread had been very respectful. I understand we all grieving and hurting and been very protective of Prince since he died.

I sincerely hope each Prince fan would find healthier ways to cope the loss other than trying to policing other fans what to talk about as long as it is not very gruesome and violating the rules on here.

Maybe a Prince death investigation subforum should be added instead so that way the Prince Music & More would stick to his music and death threads would stop getting lock up all because some mods are uncomfortable with the subject (not referring to you). Life and death goes hand in hand and if we are to talk about his life then death shouldn't be off topic. I noticed that there is highly interested in this topic and plus that thread stay gets the most views even more than nearly all the music threads. Yes whether like it or not there are still some interest and questions and (I wouldn't be suprised even some Prince associates checking that thread as they seem lost with what happened too). And June7 should be the mod if he wants it because he was the one who didn't mind us talking about Prince's death as he made that post awhile back.

Also the part 2 What Really Happened 2 Prince was created on 12/20 and already got closed to 34,000 views even more than threads that existed prior to the part 2. What is also interesting the thread got a part 2 in a short period of time.

I hope rogifan would stay away from it. lol
