Just picking up on an issue that arose with a user today

Blocking Orgnotes from people you don't wish to hear from is your right - no one here on the Org will deny you your privacy in this regard.

However blocking messages from moderators reduces our ability to effectively manage the site, because moderators do need to contact users from time to time. If someone does that, it is entirely reasonable to expect the account to be temporarily deactivated while we resolve the matter.

It is a bug in our site software that allows people to block moderators' messages - ordinarily it would not be possible. However I wouldn't advise you try it out, because if a moderator cannot contact you to discuss an issue that may arise, the only alternative is to deactivate the account without warning unfortunately.
