I got here pretty late but am impressed with everything about this site. Of course Prince had a long and very successful career, was huge and he deserves the careful, respectful attention.

Keeping the non Prince topics seperate is very important and the main sections are well thought out.

I'm also a fan of another songwriter, musician with a much shorter career, Lee Mavers of The La's out of Liverpool, 1983 - 1992. He was mostly only known in Britian but I respect him and his work a great deal. Late to him too but explored the fan site the last couple of months. I only wish there was a moderator 1/10 as good as you have here. It's all one scambled forum with many just promoting their own or favorite other bands. If I were a moderator there I'd never allow posting of some of the things which are said about Mavers. Of course there are some there who nearly worship him and his music.. not all negativity. If mavers reads that board it could be a reason he's not putting out new songs.

Anyway I was just over there wishing the moderators there where like the ones here.

Wishing there was a great fan of Mavers like me over there who would (also) question some of what they say and do. So feel very fortunate for what you have here and keep it alive.
