i really wonder why a lot of topic are shut down, deleted, locked.... Im not from USA, but where I come from Freedom of speach is allowed. I thought this forum represents Prince and his bealives of freedom too!!

A thread self-locks after a period of time where there has been no posting.

Other threads will be locked or removed by moderators in accordance with the Org rules to which we all sign up.

Some threads might be temporarily removed, for example, where there is some moderation required, before being restored.

If you have a question about a particular thread, then by all means contact a moderator.

When Threads Are HIDDEN -Please read

Free Speech means you can not get arrested. Here the Free Speech belongs and is at the pleasure of Ben and the mods. This site is well run and give wide latitude as to what is allowed.


The harsh reality is if you want a message board that is totally free speech: make one. There are all kinds of cheap tools and message board programs (like V bulletin) and then the cost of the hosting is not that much.

I wish the OP would come back and get clarity.
But I'm glad this was brought up, because of all the people who think 'their rights' are being taken away from them on the Org...

I do not know the circumstances or reasons for hiding the threads(!) with Prince's Death and pills etc as subject.

Whereas I would like to know why a topic was closed (that is was the subject deemed taboo or were there so many issues with individual posts or was it just so far off the rails). In the end, when it is closed we do not really have a right to and should not necessarily expect an explanation.

I think this is an odd -so far it is typically USA- situation and want to know more.

I am not understanding why members cannot talk about "certain topics" & "certain words"? I have never seen this before in a group?

I read that you feel things get "out of hand" yet expression of speech is what and who we are, Right?

Maybe not everyone agrees or disagrees, yet all should respect no matter what?
