Why so much negativity on the org? Prince: "Love 4 One Another"

Hey everyone,

It's important for us to keep the spirit alive of one of Prince's most cherished quotes: "Love 4 One Another".

Let's ALL do this.

Especially, during these difficult times for many Prince fans/fams after his passing.

What do others think of the "Love 4 One Another" value that Prince lifted up?

Yes, began to express love towards Prince on this site mostly beginning last month and have felt that it may not be the most welcoming space to do so.

Are there other welcoming spaces to express our love to our beloved and one and only Prince?

If so, please org note.

It most certainly is a welcoming space ...but you can integrate yourself into the community by way of participating in other discussions first, and not juststarting thread after thread and replying to your own posts with more questions, upon questions upon questions...

so its just making you appear to be seeking attention - and really all you have to do is normally interact like you're having a real conversation with other people here. Your questions are great but it feels journalistic almost, ya know?

Wow. Thanks for letting us all know that what u described as the only way to express our love towards Prince on Prince.org is the only way we must express ourselves as fams/fans.

The rules u describe are new.

Their have been postings lately about fans that have posted for many years vs. all other Prince fans/fams that are beginning to post since Prince left us.


Is there any way to reach a middle ground so that all of us can express our appreciation of our beloved Prince without judgement nor negativity nor imposition of new rules as to how we must behave as we express our feelings and views regarding the one and only Prince?

Let us all embrace Prince's Love 4 One Another value.

Let's all join together & participate within the org without being judged upon the way we express our love for Prince.

People are still grieving. I guess anger is a pat of that sometimes.
And then you have all the opportunists.
And people feeling like they need to defend Prince's memory.

Lol! The initial attempt here is to just embrace our "Love 4 One Another" and refrain from negativity because the most important objective should be to express our love for Prince and one another as Prince fans/fans (whether as orgers that have posted for many years or new orgers that began to post after Prince passed away).

The negativity on many other threads is real and should not be confusing because apparently it has been happening for decades.

Just check out other threads on this forum and others.

Can't we all just get along and express our "Love 4 One Another"?

imo...... people are always allowed to express their views, positive and also negative.

I mean how can anyone be positive towards a song like Purple & Gold or Jughead.

and if we are only allowed to be positive all the time, that would be very borring right?
